The Modal Adverb Neobkhodimo (necessary): the Russian Foreigner

Abstract
The history of the adverb neobkhodimo (necessary) appearance (through the stage of short adjective and formation of it’s modal semantics is considered in the article. The way from the adjective neobkhodimyi that appeared in 17th century as characterfully speaking fact (in polemic texts by Avvakum) till calked meanings of European languages (German, French) is observed. The adverb is incorporated into the modal words group (nuzhno, nado, sleduet and others) that serve for expression of necessity grammatic meaning. The meaning was actively forming in the field of official and scientific literature in Russia in 18th century.
