DICTIONARY ENTRY IN THE MODERN DEFINING DICTIONARY (CRITICAL NOTES)

Abstract

Some theoretical questions of Russian language lexis and grammar found common understanding among linguists and reflected in textbooks and study guides are considered in the article. But the observations sometimes come into conflict with the defining dictionaries material that causes difficulties in the study process.
