Автор ставит вопрос о путях изучения синтаксиса в вузе – традиционном, на основе теории типологической лингвистики, или комбинированном, отдавая предпочтение последнему.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This article considers the problem of teaching main syntactic units – phrase and sentence – during the university course devoted to the syntax of the simple sentence. Terminological innovations and principles of systematization of Russian syntactic units are provided. The question is raised on the efficiency of two approaches to teaching syntax at university, i.e. traditional based on typological linguistics and combined. The advantages of the latter approach are described.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>синтаксические единицы</kwd><kwd>словосочетание</kwd><kwd>предложение</kwd><kwd>именная группа</kwd><kwd>предложная группа</kwd><kwd>клауза</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>syntactic units</kwd><kwd>phrase</kwd><kwd>sentence</kwd><kwd>noun group</kwd><kwd>prepositional group</kwd><kwd>clause</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Золотова Г.А.
