Баранова в области  школьной методики русского  языка,  поставлена проблема освещения  общих  вопросов лингвометодики в  учебниках   для  студентов;  представлена матрица докторского  исследования ученого  по  обогащению словаря учащихся;  рассмотрена разработанная М.Т. Барановым классификация методов обучения в их взаимосвязи с видами упражнений и других типов работ и заданий.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This article discusses the significance of Professor M.T. Baranov’s theoretical and methodological work on developing the methods of teaching the Russian language as a school subject.  The problem  of the presentation of linguistic methods in textbooks for students is analysed.
